I am an Artist working with fabric and dye. I am working on a collection of WholeCloth Banners. These banners use one length of silk fabric each, and up to ten to twenty applications of dye painting, printing, and discharge techniques. Each piece is achieved as a spontaneous piece of art and relies heavily on surface design techniques. Gardening and walking keep a healthy balance to my life, along with reading and art house movies. I live in the Western Hills of Lower Hutt and enjoy a panoramic view over the valley.
